As a Pharmacy Technician with Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust, working across hospital and retail pharmacy services, you will support the distribution and supply of medicines and work closely with pharmacists. Operating at Band 5 as a qualified and experienced practitioner, you will collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and effective medication management.
Assist in the preparation, dispensing and distribution of medicines across hospital and retail settings.
Support pharmacists in clinical and operational pharmacy activities.
Work collaboratively with patients, families, carers and healthcare professionals to ensure safe medication use.
Maintain accurate records in accordance with professional and organisational standards.
Contribute to quality assurance and safety initiatives within the pharmacy service.
Provide advice and guidance on medicines administration as appropriate.
