This senior role involves overseeing the safe and effective management of medicines, supporting pharmacy technicians, and contributing to the optimisation of pharmacy services across the organisation.
Lead the review, dispensing, and management of medicines across the distribution service.
Provide expert clinical advice and guidance to healthcare professionals regarding safe and effective medicine use.
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and junior pharmacists in their daily duties.
Ensure adherence to trust and organisational policies, legal requirements, and patient safety protocols.
Contribute to service development, audits, and quality improvement initiatives within pharmacy operations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise medicines management and patient outcomes.
