Specialist Mental Health Pharmacist – Band 8a (Locum)

Requirements:

• Must have both Mental Health and Hospital Pharmacy experience
• Must be with an agency registered with the Health Trust Europe Framework

Key Duties:

• Actively contribute to and participate in the provision and development of pharmaceutical services within the Trust.
• Participate as an active member of specific wards/unit/clinical teams, supporting the safe and effective use of medicines.
• Provide clinical pharmacy advice on the management of patients with mental illness to maximise benefit and minimise risk in relation to medicines.
• Support and participate in clinical audits.
• Support in the education and training of staff groups.
