Role 3: Advanced Clinical Pharmacist – Haematology, Oncology, Palliative Care & Technical Services

Overview:
This role supports the Lead Clinical Pharmacist across cancer services, providing a clinical pharmacy service to inpatient wards, chemotherapy day units, and technical services. Responsibilities include screening prescriptions, validating chemotherapy, and ensuring a high standard of care across all relevant clinical areas. Key Duties:
Provide clinical pharmacy services to cancer services, including the inpatient ward, Chemo Day Unit, and the Day Treatment Unit.
Contribute to the provision of the chemotherapy preparation service by clinically screening and validating chemotherapy prescriptions and conducting product approval and release in Pharmacy Technical Services.
Support the Lead Clinical Pharmacist Haematology, Oncology, Palliative Care, and Technical Services in the specialisms of oncology, haematology, and palliative care, ensuring a consistently high-quality clinical pharmacy service is delivered to these patients and other clinical areas that utilise technical services products, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
