As a Band 7 / Band 8a Pharmacist with Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust, you will provide expert pharmaceutical services across hospital, home office and distribution settings. You will oversee the safe preparation, supply and management of medicines, provide professional guidance to colleagues, and contribute to service development and strategic initiatives.
Manage the preparation, storage and distribution of medicines across hospital, home office and distribution settings.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and professional standards in all pharmacy activities.
Provide expert advice and support to pharmacy staff, other healthcare professionals and service users.
Monitor and maintain accurate records of stock, usage and documentation.
Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of pharmacy policies, procedures and quality improvement initiatives.
Lead and support training, mentoring and professional development within the pharmacy team.
