Band 6 or 7 Pharmacist – Epsom, Surrey Contract: Temporary (3-6 months) Hourly Pay: £28 – £35 (negotiable depending on experience) We are recruiting for a Band 6 or7 Pharmacist for an NHS service in Epsom, offering an exciting temporary opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of £28 – £35, depending on experience. Key Responsibilities:
Lead on the provision of pharmacy services across various hospital departments, ensuring that patients receive optimal pharmaceutical care.
Conduct medication reviews, clinical assessments, and assist in making recommendations for therapeutic adjustments.
Oversee the safe and effective use of medicines and ensure compliance with hospital policies and national guidelines.
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
Provide education and training to junior pharmacy staff and clinical teams.
Maintain high standards of patient safety, including advising on drug interactions, side effects, and contraindications.
Requirements:
GPhC Registration as a Pharmacist.
Proven NHS hospital experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with both patients and healthcare staff.
Commitment to providing excellent patient care and contributing to the success of the multidisciplinary team.
