Pharmacist

Band 7 or 8  Pharmacist – Liverpool
Contract: Temporary (3-6 months)
Hourly Pay: £30 – £35 (negotiable depending on experience)
Tripod Partners is currently recruiting for a Band 6-7 Pharmacist to join an NHS service in Liverpool. This is a temporary role with a competitive hourly pay rate, depending on your level of experience.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services across various hospital wards, ensuring appropriate medication management for patients.
• Conduct clinical assessments and offer professional advice on the safe and effective use of medications.
• Review and verify prescriptions to ensure they are accurate and legally compliant.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the management of patient care.
• Provide medication counselling and support for patients, ensuring they understand their prescribed treatment.
• Support the dispensary team and ensure stock control and medicines management processes are adhered to.

Requirements:

• GPhC Registration as a Pharmacist.
• Experience working within NHS hospital settings is essential.
• Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills, with a patient-focused approach.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing environments.
