Band 7 or 8 Pharmacist – Liverpool Contract: Temporary (3-6 months) Hourly Pay: £30 – £35 (negotiable depending on experience) Tripod Partners is currently recruiting for a Band 6-7 Pharmacist to join an NHS service in Liverpool. This is a temporary role with a competitive hourly pay rate, depending on your level of experience. Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical pharmacy services across various hospital wards, ensuring appropriate medication management for patients.
Conduct clinical assessments and offer professional advice on the safe and effective use of medications.
Review and verify prescriptions to ensure they are accurate and legally compliant.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the management of patient care.
Provide medication counselling and support for patients, ensuring they understand their prescribed treatment.
Support the dispensary team and ensure stock control and medicines management processes are adhered to.
Requirements:
GPhC Registration as a Pharmacist.
Experience working within NHS hospital settings is essential.
Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills, with a patient-focused approach.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing environments.
