This role will focus on delivering specialist occupational therapy within general medicine, with particular emphasis on equipment and adaptations to support patient independence and recovery.

Undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for adult inpatients and community patients

Deliver tailored rehabilitation programmes to support recovery and functional independence

Recommend and facilitate the provision of equipment and adaptations to promote safe and independent living

Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans

Support patients and families with guidance, advice, and education to optimise outcomes

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to meet individual needs
