Join Northumberland County Council’s Adults’ Services as a Qualified Social Worker, supporting adults with care and support needs to live safely, independently, and with dignity.

Undertake statutory assessments, care and support planning, safeguarding enquiries, and Mental Capacity Act assessments in line with the Care Act 2014 and other key legislation.

Manage a diverse caseload including older adults, individuals with physical disabilities, mental health needs, and learning disabilities, using a strengths-based, person-centred approach.

Work collaboratively with service users, carers, families, and professionals from health, housing, and voluntary sectors to deliver integrated, outcome-focused care.

Promote independence and wellbeing by identifying preventative support and enabling people to access services that help maintain their quality of life.
