This role focuses on Best Interest Assessments (BIA) and the management of complex communication and swallowing needs, offering opportunities for clinical leadership, service development, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions for adults with communication and swallowing difficulties.

Lead on Best Interest Assessments (BIA), ensuring patient-centred, ethical, and legally compliant decision-making.

Develop and implement treatment plans and rehabilitation programmes tailored to individual patient needs.

Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated, high-quality care and support discharge planning.

Provide clinical leadership, mentoring, and supervision to junior therapists, assistants, and students.

Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives, supporting the strategic growth of speech and language therapy services.
