Manage complex and high-risk adult cases for Bradford Metropolitan District Council, including safeguarding, hospital discharges, mental health, and continuing care, ensuring statutory compliance under the Care Act 2014.

Provide professional leadership, support, and mentoring to social workers and students, encouraging reflective practice and continuous development.
-
Undertake and oversee detailed assessments, care planning, and reviews, ensuring a strengths-based and person-centred approach that promotes independence and wellbeing.

Lead on safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 of the Care Act, coordinating multi-agency responses and contributing to risk management plans.

Apply the Mental Capacity Act 2005 in practice, completing capacity assessments and best interest decisions where appropriate.

Contribute to service development, quality assurance, and the implementation of best practice across Bradford’s Adult Social Care teams.
