Lead and manage a frontline adult social care team within Cheshire West and Chester Council, overseeing casework related to older adults, physical disabilities, mental health, and learning disabilities.

Provide clear leadership, professional supervision, and performance management to social workers and support staff, ensuring high standards of practice and compliance with statutory duties.
-
Monitor caseloads and workflow to ensure timely completion of Care Act assessments, reviews, and safeguarding enquiries in line with local policies and national legislation.

Champion a strengths-based, person-centred approach across the team, promoting independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for service users and carers.

Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, including health, housing, and voluntary services, to coordinate care and support planning.

Contribute to service development, workforce planning, and quality assurance initiatives to support continuous improvement across Adult Social Care.
