Job details: Occupational Therapist required for Community Neuro Therapy Services. Car driver essential. Skills/experience – essential: The candidate must have good experience working with patients with neurological conditions including stroke, head injury, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis & progressive conditions. The candidate will need experience in rehabilitation and the management of long term conditions. Community experience. Experience working with adults & older adults. MDT working. Ability to complete the required number of community visits around the borough of Sutton, South West London. Desirable: Car driver & car that can use for this post. EMIS trained and have a NHS SMART card. Seeing patients with a Sutton GP, both in their own home, care homes and in the community as required. Assessment and treatment / intervention of patients with Neurological conditions in the community setting. Mileage can be claimed; no parking permits are available. Working hours: 37.5 hours (5 days) per week, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. 7.5 hours a day with 30 mins unpaid lunch, typically 08.30-16.30.
