Tripod Partners are currently looking for experienced ICU Nurses to join the Intensive Care Unit in Bournemouth. This full-time position requires 7-day availability and is a minimum 3-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver critical nursing care to ICU patients with complex and life-threatening conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive patient monitoring, adjusting care plans based on real-time assessments.
- Administer high-acuity treatments, including ventilation support, IV therapy, and invasive procedures.
- Collaborate with consultants, anesthetists, and allied health professionals to deliver integrated patient care.
- Support patients through post-operative recovery, trauma care, and advanced life support interventions.
- Maintain stringent infection prevention standards and ensure compliance with hospital safety protocols.
Position Details:
- Location: Bournemouth
- Work Pattern: Full-time, 7 days a week (Days, Nights, and Weekends)
- Contract Length: 3 months minimum
- Rates:
- Weekday: £26.00 per hour
- Nights & Saturdays: £32.00 per hour
- Sundays & Bank Holidays: £40.00 per hour
- Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE available
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with active NMC registration.
- Proven experience working within an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical ventilation, sedation protocols, and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations and rapidly changing patient conditions.
