Assignment Overview
The OR cares for a wide variety of patients. Specialties include orthopaedics, general surgery, plastics, orthopaedic, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma (level 1 trauma center). There are 2 Davinci robots that are used by multi-services. The transplant program involves livers, kidneys, and hearts.
 
 This 13-week contract offers guaranteed 36/48 hours per week, competitive pay, and a supportive team environment in a high-acuity setting.

• Shift Schedule: Rotating Days/Evenings/Nights
• Guaranteed Hours: 36/48 hours per week
• OT Pay: After 40 hours

 
Pay Package (Weekly, 36 hrs Guaranteed)

• Weekly Gross: $2,924.00
• Taxable Income: $1,440 ($40.00/hr up to 40 hrs)
• Non-Taxable Stipends: $1,484.00
• Overtime Rate: $64.80/hr

 
 
Pay Package (Weekly, 48 hrs Guaranteed)

• Weekly Gross: $3,867.20
• Taxable Income: $2,383.20 ($45.00/hr up to 40 hrs)
• Non-Taxable Stipends: $1,484.00
• Overtime Rate: $72.90/hr

Requirements

• RN License (NY state license ONLY )
• Two (2) years’ Experience OR experience in a level 1 trauma preferred
• Able to scrub and circulate

 
Certification(s):

• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS (PREFERED) 

 
Preferred Surgical Experience: 

• Specialty Cases (transplants, plastics, reconstructive)
• Craniotomy
• Strong Ortho background
