We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist Practice Manager to lead the Occupational Therapy service within Newham Council. This role is based in community and housing settings, focusing exclusively on occupational therapy delivery. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and a solid clinical background, driving service excellence and supporting a team of therapists to provide high-quality, person-centred care. You will manage resources, oversee service development, and work collaboratively with other departments to meet the needs of the local population.
Lead and manage the Occupational Therapy service across community and housing settings within Newham Council
Provide professional supervision, support, and development opportunities for OT staff
Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred occupational therapy interventions
Oversee service planning, resource management, and quality assurance processes
Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and improve OT services
Maintain compliance with statutory, regulatory, and professional standards, including accurate record keeping and reporting.
