Job Title: Principal Occupational Therapist Area: West Midlands Social Services Salary: £35.86 Job Type: Locum Contract Length: Ongoing Job details: Hybrid working – minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
To provide strong professional Occupational Therapy practice leadership across all operational areas of the service.
To be a member of the Adult Social Care Senior Management Team.
To represent the Adult Social Care workforce at a strategic level to ensure service design and priorities are influenced by frontline OT practice experience.
To contribute to a quality assurance system with a focus on improving outcomes for adults with care and support needs.
To lead on learning and development and progression opportunities for the OT/OTA offer across Adult Social Care and work with managers to ensure that regular supervision, training, and development occurs.
To take a leadership role in partnership working with other agencies as we develop an integrated approach to service development, working across Integrated Community Services to ensure services promote.
