Job details:  Occupational Therapy Assistant required to work in Adaptations team. Role is to contact and assess residents who are waiting for an adaptation to make their property accessible.
The post holder will work with families of disabled children, older people and adults with a disability or long-term health condition to support their independence through the provision of equipment and adaptations. They will have excellent verbal and written communication, be confident with IT processes and applications and have excellent customer care skills. There is an opportunity to developed skills in social care assessments and learn from OTs. 
They will have experience working in customer care and with older or disable people.
