Job Overview

Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust at Frimley Park Hospital on an ongoing locum basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist to join an established NHS service and contribute specialist occupational therapy expertise within a hospital setting. The successful candidate will be an experienced practitioner who can work confidently within a multidisciplinary team and deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

•  
• Provide high-quality occupational therapy assessment and intervention within the hospital setting.
   

• Complete comprehensive assessments to identify patients’ functional needs and develop appropriate treatment and discharge plans.
   

• Deliver evidence-based, person-centred occupational therapy interventions to support patients’ independence and wellbeing.
   

• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, patients, families and relevant professionals.
   

• Contribute to safe and effective discharge planning and the coordination of appropriate ongoing support where required.
   

• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure documentation meets professional and NHS standards.
   

• Use clinical reasoning and professional expertise to manage a varied and potentially complex caseload.

About You

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Band 7 Occupational Therapist who is confident working within an NHS hospital environment. You will have strong clinical reasoning skills, excellent communication abilities and the capacity to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a wider multidisciplinary team.

The role would suit an Occupational Therapist looking for an ongoing locum opportunity within Surrey NHS services.

Requirements

•  
• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
   

• Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist within an NHS or comparable clinical setting.
   

• Experience appropriate to a Band 7 level of practice.
   

• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and care-planning skills.
   

• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary working skills.
   

• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work independently.
