Job Title: Lead Therapist Area: South London Social Services Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract length: Ongoing Job details: Lead Therapist required for Children Young People – Therapy team. The post holder will need the ability to travel around the borough to visit schools, other education settings and/or other locations as required. Flexible working. Expectation to work 3 days per week in the office. Skills/experience: Educated to degree level or equivalent. Relevant qualifications including registration with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC). Experience in delivering clinical supervision. Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a paediatric therapist. Adherence to the HCPC policies and procedures. JD available on request:
To take the lead role in the overseeing and delivery of therapy support for pupils within own clinical area of specialism.
To contribute to multi-agency meetings and Annual Reviews, including tribunals as and when required.
To provide clinical supervision as required.
To lead on service development in own area of specialism and support the team to transition and develop a tiered Universal, Targeted and Specialist model of therapies delivery in the local area.
Post holder will be responsible for: 3 x Speech and Language Therapists, 2 x Occupational x and 2 x Therapy Assistants.
