Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Band 6
Area: Eastern Scotland NHS

Job details: Occupational Therapist required to provide cross-site cover across community hospitals, working within rehabilitation, medical wards and stroke rehabilitation services.
Deliver high quality Occupational Therapy services to the in-patient population
Provide specialist assessment and intervention within inpatient rehabilitation, including stroke rehabilitation
Support complex discharge planning and facilitate safe transitions of care
Demonstrate strong clinical reasoning, communication and decision-making skills
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, promoting person-centred care
Exhibit leadership and management skills alongside other Band 6 Occupational Therapists
Provide support and supervision to Band 5 Occupational Therapists and Support Workers
Skills/Experience: Specialist clinical knowledge and experience across a range of rehabilitation settings, including stroke. Strong leadership capability and a positive, proactive approach to MDT working.
