- Participate in the effective delivery of statutory Occupational Therapy services to adults with care and support needs, families and carers
- Undertake Occupational Therapy assessments, contribute to multi-agency planning, implement interventions and coordinate resources, including safeguarding responsibilities
- Assess, plan and review needs for appropriate services, minor and major equipment and adaptations, and provide reports as required
- Provide advice, support and information in partnership with adults, families and carers
- Commit to the protection and safeguarding of adults, valuing and respecting their views and needs
- Contribute to team and service development, ensuring effective, anti-discriminatory practice in line with performance standards
- Participate in supervision and training to maintain and develop professional skills and meet departmental standards
- Maintain accurate written records in accordance with Data Protection requirements and departmental procedures
- Support the Team Manager in developing Business Plans within the strategic framework
- Participate in monitoring and evaluating service delivery against agreed standards and targets
- Undertake direct work with individuals, families and groups in collaboration with other teams and resources
- Work flexibly to meet statutory requirements and the needs of adults with care and support needs
- Undertake additional duties as specified by the Team Manager or Service Manager
- Adhere to professional standards including the Professional Capability Framework and HCPC Standards
