Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Band 6/7

Job details: Experienced Band 6/7 Occupational Therapist required to join the Neuro / Stroke Team.
Provide specialist Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention within the Neuro / Stroke service
Work alongside a dedicated therapy team including Physiotherapists and Therapy Assistants, with support from wider specialist teams
Demonstrate autonomy, clinical confidence, and sound decision-making in complex cases
Lead on effective discharge planning and manage complex rehabilitation programmes
Work autonomously under pressure while maintaining high standards of patient-centred care
Apply strong clinical reasoning skills to support optimal patient outcomes
Collaborate proactively within the multidisciplinary team to enhance service delivery and patient experience
Skills/Experience: Proven experience within Neuro and/or Stroke services at Band 6 or 7 level. Strong discharge planning experience, ability to manage complex rehabilitation caseloads, and excellent communication and MDT working skills.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08.00 – 16.00 or 08.30 – 16.30.
