Job details: Occupational Therapist required for the Rehousing Team. The team requires an Occupational Therapist with housing adaptations experience to assess individuals in their own homes and support rehousing outcomes.
Assess people in their own homes for housing adaptations
Match applicants to available adapted properties
Undertake property viewings with applicants
Provide advice, planning and support to ensure access to suitable housing
Manage and be accountable for a caseload to secure positive rehousing outcomes
Visit children and adults at home to complete medical assessments for rehousing priority
Complete reports and provide high-quality advice on rehousing options
Manage and resolve complex housing cases
Work collaboratively using joined-up approaches across services
Working arrangement: Hybrid working with a minimum of 2 office-based days per week and travel across the borough on other days
Working hours: Full time – 35 hours per week. Part time considered – minimum 28 hours per week over 4 days
