Job Details
Three Occupational Therapists are required to work across a range of inpatient specialities within a busy acute trust. Opportunities are available in the following areas:
Neuro / Stroke
Orthopaedics
Front Door ED and Acute Care (Assessment Units)
Medical Rehabilitation
The post holder will work alongside a dedicated therapy team including Physiotherapists and Therapy Assistants, with additional support from wider specialist therapy teams.
This role requires a high level of autonomy, strong clinical confidence and effective decision-making skills. The successful clinician will be passionate about delivering excellent patient care, managing complex rehabilitation needs, and supporting safe and timely discharges.
Key Requirements
Experience within the chosen speciality is essential.
Strong discharge planning skills.
Ability to work autonomously and manage pressure in a fast-paced acute environment.
Sound clinical reasoning and excellent communication skills.
Proactive approach to multidisciplinary team working.
