About the Role
Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the inpatient therapy team. This role involves delivering high-quality occupational therapy assessment and intervention to adult inpatients, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary hospital setting.
Main Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for inpatients.
Manage an inpatient caseload, supporting rehabilitation, functional independence and safe discharge.
Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to contribute to care planning and patient flow.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with Trust and HCPC standards.
Apply evidence-based practice to support effective patient outcomes.
Skills & Experience
Degree in Occupational Therapy.
HCPC registration.
Experience working with inpatients within an acute hospital setting.
Strong communication, clinical reasoning and MDT working skills.
Working Hours
Weekdays only.
09:00 – 17:00.
