Main Responsibilities

Responsibilities will reflect the needs of the service and may include:

• Delivering high-quality, patient-centred occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
• Managing a varied caseload appropriate to Band 6 level and clinical speciality.
• Contributing to safe, effective discharge planning and rehabilitation goals.
• Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with HCPC and NHS standards.
• Supporting service development and contributing to best practice within the department.

Requirements

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
• Relevant post-qualification experience suited to a Band 6 role.
• Strong assessment, communication and clinical reasoning skills.
• Able to work autonomously as well as within an MDT.
• Flexible and adaptable to service needs.
