This part-time locum role is initially for 12 weeks and involves delivering high-quality occupational therapy interventions both within the community hospital and across people’s homes. You will support individuals with a range of long-term and complex needs, promoting independence, preventing unnecessary hospital admissions, and ensuring access to appropriate care, equipment, and adaptations.
Key Responsibilities
-

- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalised intervention plans for individuals with long-term, complex needs.

- Participate in the weekly Duty rota (one day per week), responding to urgent queries and conducting timely visits when needed.
- Manage a varied caseload effectively, demonstrating strong time management, organisational ability, and clinical reasoning.
About You
You are a confident and skilled Occupational Therapist with experience working in community settings or hospital-based roles that extend into the community.
