  • Work autonomously to plan, assess, implement, and evaluate occupational therapy recommendations and interventions.
  • Collaborate remotely with the designated supervisor and other professionals to ensure the highest quality of service delivery.
  • Manage and prioritise caseloads efficiently, completing assessments and any necessary follow-up visits.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in line with professional and council standards.
  • Contribute to the ongoing success and evaluation of this innovative pilot scheme through feedback and reflective practice.

About You

You are an experienced and highly skilled Occupational Therapist with the confidence to work independently on complex social services cases. You thrive in a flexible environment, are adept at managing your own workload, and bring excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Your professionalism, empathy, and adaptability will make you an asset to this pioneering remote service model.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registration as a qualified Occupational Therapist.
  • Significant post-qualifying experience in social services-based occupational therapy.
  • Expertise in major adaptations and moving and handling assessments.
  • Confidence working autonomously and managing complex caseloads.
  • Ability to work remotely and complete visits across South London as required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Access to own transport for home visits (preferred).
