Band 6 Occupational Therapist role with Bexley Council in South East London, focused on reablement and rehab within Adult Social Services
Locum, ongoing position working with adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and mental health needs in their home environments
Responsibilities include delivering strength-based holistic assessments, reablement programmes, equipment/adaptation provision, and promoting independence
Works closely with care agencies, OTs, physios, social workers, and rehab staff within an integrated Health & Social Care model
Aims to reduce long-term support needs by empowering individuals in daily living through skills gain and risk management
