Provide direct occupational therapy support to service users and their families, in line with statutory duties and relevant local and national policies
Conduct assessments and develop person-centred intervention plans focused on promoting independence through equipment provision, adaptations, and/or moving and handling strategies
Collaborate effectively with Manchester City Council colleagues, partner agencies, and stakeholders to manage current and future risks to service users
Deliver specialist input in either Moving & Handling or general Occupational Therapy, depending on the assigned role
Support the development of the service by supervising students and trainees and contributing to staff training and mentoring
Maintain accurate records and ensure interventions meet professional and organisational standards to achieve positive outcomes for service users
