We are seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to join the team at the London Borough of Bexley. This role involves working across community and rehabilitation settings, with a particular focus on moving and handling assessments and interventions. The successful candidate will provide expert support to help individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to deliver tailored, person-centred care.
Conduct moving and handling assessments and develop safe, effective management plans for clients
Deliver occupational therapy interventions in community and rehabilitation settings
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic care and discharge planning
Provide education and training to clients, carers, and staff on safe moving and handling techniques
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with professional and organisational standards
Participate in ongoing professional development to keep skills and knowledge current
