Job Title: Occupational Therapist Location: Suffolk County Council – Riverside House, Lowestoft Area: Suffolk Social Services Salary: £35ph (umbrella) Job Type: Locum Contract length: Ongoing Job details: Occupational Therapist required for Major adaptations team (Independent Living Suffolk). Must have Adaptations/ DFG experience. The tasks will include: • Providing safe and timely delivery of front-line occupational therapy services within the directorate • Supporting with triage and reducing duplication between health and social care to reduce OT waiting lists. • Supporting external care providers to ensure correct and safe moving and handling tasks. • Completing reviews of care packages to ensure best value of services for ASC and best use of available equipment • Reviewing double handed care packages • Mutual aid to other OT areas as required • Provide safe and timely delivery of OT assessments and reviews across the directorate.
