As an Occupational Therapist with London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, you will provide specialist assessment and intervention for paediatric service users, focusing exclusively on occupational therapy. You will develop and deliver personalised programmes centred on equipment provision and environmental adaptations to promote safety, independence and participation.
Conduct detailed assessments of paediatric functional abilities and equipment needs.
Recommend, provide and review appropriate equipment and adaptations to support safe mobility and daily activities.
Develop and implement tailored occupational therapy plans aligned with individual requirements.
Collaborate closely with families, carers and professionals to ensure effective care coordination.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with council and professional standards.
Contribute to service development, training and policy initiatives relating to paediatric equipment and adaptations.
