As an Occupational Therapist with London Borough of Tower Hamlets Council, working at Band 6, you will provide specialist assessment and intervention to adults, focusing exclusively on occupational therapy. Collaborating with service users, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams, you will develop and deliver personalised programmes to promote independence, safety and improved quality of life.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of adults’ functional abilities and daily living needs.
Develop, implement and review individualised intervention plans in line with best practice.
Work closely with service users, carers and professionals to coordinate effective care and support.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with council and professional standards.
Provide advice, guidance and training to support adults and their carers in occupational engagement.
Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives within the occupational therapy team.
