Review and manage all incoming OT referrals, providing clinical advice and low-level equipment for straightforward cases.
Complete up to 25 phone initial assessments per week.
Collaborate with social workers, assistant practitioners, and customer support officers to ensure comprehensive care.
Signpost clients and professionals to appropriate services (e.g., falls services, community neurological rehabilitation, urgent response).
Completing home visits to assess client’s needs within their home environment
Liaison with care agencies and fieldwork supervisor to provide advice and support.
Lead a fortnightly bathroom equipment clinic, recommending appropriate equipment based on client assessments.
Supervise an occupational therapy assistant practitioner.
