As an experienced and qualified Occupational Therapist with Westminster City Council, working at Band 6, you will provide specialist assessment and intervention focused on equipment provision and environmental adaptations. Collaborating with service users, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams, you will develop and deliver personalised programmes that promote safety, independence and quality of life.
Conduct detailed assessments of functional abilities and equipment needs.
Develop, implement and review tailored occupational therapy intervention plans centred on equipment and adaptations.
Work closely with service users, carers and professionals to coordinate care and ensure effective use of adaptive equipment.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records in line with council and professional standards.
Provide education, advice and training to support service users, carers and colleagues in equipment use and adaptations.
Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives related to equipment and adaptations.
