Worcestershire County Council is looking for a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to work with adult inpatients in general medicine. This 36-hour per week, three-month contract involves delivering high-quality, patient-centred occupational therapy to support recovery and independence.
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for adult inpatients.
Develop and implement personalised intervention plans to improve functional ability.
Recommend and provide equipment and adaptations to support safe daily living.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and discharge planning.
Provide education and guidance to patients and carers to support recovery and independence.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards.
