West Sussex County Council is looking for a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to join the inpatient team. This role offers the opportunity to work with adults across acute settings, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and general medical conditions to achieve their goals and maximise independence.
Provide specialist occupational therapy assessment, intervention, and rehabilitation for adults in acute inpatient settings.
Support individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and complex medical conditions through person-centred and evidence-based practice.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and carers to promote safe, effective, and holistic care planning.
Contribute to service delivery by developing and implementing therapeutic programmes that enhance independence and wellbeing.
Provide supervision, guidance, and professional support to less experienced colleagues and students.
Engage in service evaluation, quality improvement, and professional development to maintain high standards of clinical practice.
