Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Band 7 Area: Kent NHS Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract length: Ongoing Job details: Pulmonary Rehab Occupational Therapist required to start asap for at least a month but probably longer · Initial and discharge assessments for Pulmonary Rehabilitation · Running Pulmonary Rehabilitation classes and delivering education to patients in a community setting · Completing respiratory assessments on patients with a range of confirmed respiratory conditions including COPD, bronchiectasis and interstitial lung disease, formulating appropriate physiotherapy treatment plans · Onward referrals and liaisons with other healthcare professionals including respiratory nurses, consultants and GPs · Must be a car driver · Previous respiratory physiotherapy experience is essential, has to have some previous experience of Pulmonary Rehabilitation · Must have previously run exercise classes and delivered education to patients Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09.00 – 17.00.
