East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to work with adults across inpatient, community, and acute general medical settings. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality occupational therapy, supporting patient independence, functional recovery, and safe discharge.
Undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for adults in inpatient, community, and acute settings.
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to support daily living, mobility, and functional recovery.
Provide advice and interventions to optimise patient independence and safety within general medicine.
Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centred care and effective discharge planning.
Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff, therapy assistants, and students where appropriate.
Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives within occupational therapy practice.
