Job Title: Occupational Therapist Area: Suffolk Social Services Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract length: Ongoing Job details: Experienced Occupational Therapist required to work with children and young people up to the age of 18 years old, permanently resident in Suffolk with a substantial and long-term physical or mental impairment. Skills/experience: Minor Adaptations. Major Adaptations (completing assessments for major adaptations and making DFG/major adaptation recommendations). Equipment Provision (Such as Profiling Beds, Safety Beds, Shower Chairs, Stair Climbers, Changing Tables, Hoists and Slings Etc). Moving and Handling – (offering low-level advice to complex moving and handling, including hoisting, sling assessments, in bed turning and slide sheet systems, single-handed care). Knowledge of neurodiverse conditions / behaviour management, safety equipment / recommendations – We have referrals requesting equipment / adaptations around safety concerns linked to behaviour.
