London Borough of Southwark is seeking a qualified and experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work with adults in community settings. This role involves delivering high-quality occupational therapy while contributing to Best Interest Assessments (BIA) and providing equipment and adaptations to support independence, safety, and patient-centred outcomes.
Undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for adults in community settings.
Contribute to Best Interest Assessments (BIA), ensuring decisions are patient-centred, ethical, and legally compliant.
Develop and implement individualised intervention plans to promote safe mobility and daily living.
Provide expert advice on equipment and adaptations to enhance patient independence and wellbeing.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centred care.
Participate in service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance occupational therapy provision.
