We are seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to join the London Borough of Redbridge Council, supporting adults in community and housing settings. This role focuses on conducting Best Interest Assessments (BIA), providing moving and handling support, and recommending equipment and adaptations to enhance independence and safety.
Conduct Best Interest Assessments (BIA) and deliver person-centered occupational therapy interventions.
Assess and recommend equipment and home adaptations to support daily living.
Carry out moving and handling assessments and provide guidance to patients and carers.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Support adults in maintaining independence and improving quality of life.
Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development and professional growth.
