We are seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to join Betsi Cadwaladr University Local Health Board for a 6-month contract. The role involves providing OT-only services for adults in inpatient general medicine settings, including conducting Best Interest Assessments (BIA) to ensure safe and person-centered care.
Conduct Best Interest Assessments (BIA) and provide individualized occupational therapy interventions for adult inpatients.
Assess and support patients’ functional abilities to promote independence and recovery.
Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Provide guidance and education to patients, families, and carers on daily living and rehabilitation strategies.
Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional standards.
Contribute to service development and participate in continuous professional development initiatives.
