We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust, providing care for adults in acute inpatient general medicine settings. The role involves conducting Best Interest Assessments (BIA) and delivering person-centered occupational therapy to promote independence and functional recovery.
Conduct Best Interest Assessments (BIA) and provide individualized occupational therapy interventions for adult inpatients.
Assess and support patients’ functional abilities to enhance independence and recovery.
Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Provide guidance and education to patients, families, and carers on daily living and rehabilitation strategies.
Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional standards.
Contribute to service development and participate in continuous professional development initiatives.
