London Borough of Croydon Council is looking for a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to join the inpatient team, providing OT-only services for adults in general medicine. The role includes conducting Best Interest Assessments (BIA) and delivering person-centred interventions to support recovery, independence, and safe discharge.
Conduct Best Interest Assessments (BIA) in line with statutory requirements.
Provide OT-only interventions for adults in inpatient general medicine.
Assess functional abilities and develop person-centred care plans.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
Support patients in regaining independence and improving quality of life.
Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development and professional growth.
