Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a qualified and experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Inpatient service. This role will focus on undertaking Best Interest Assessments and delivering specialist occupational therapy across acute and rehabilitation settings to support patient recovery and independence.
Undertake Best Interest Assessments in line with statutory requirements
Carry out comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for adult inpatients
Deliver tailored rehabilitation programmes to promote functional recovery and independence
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans
Support patients and families with guidance, advice, and education to optimise outcomes
Contribute to service development initiatives and provide guidance to junior staff where required
