Job Title: Occupational Therapist Area: North London Social Services Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract Length: Ongoing Job details: Duty Occupational Therapist required in Adult Social Care Team – team are very supportive with huge emphasis on staff wellbeing, free in-house training for locums, 4 weekly supervision manageable workload. Current locums have been with the team for 3 years plus. Role is an office/remote based duty role: Screening accepted OT incoming referrals by contacting each person to complete an initial telephone assessment. Will be expected to order minor equipment following screening where appropriate (such as toilet frame, commode) and be confident with telephone initial assessments and assessing for risks. Will not be required to complete home visits as standard but might be necessary if short staffed on occasion. Hybrid based role – with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. Skills/experience: must have recent social services experience with minimum 5 years post graduate experience. Some Duty experience required also. Working hours: Full time. Code: U.
