London Borough of Islington Council is looking for a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Community service. This role will focus on undertaking Best Interest Assessments and providing specialist occupational therapy across general medicine, telecare, and housing to support patient independence and well-being.
Undertake Best Interest Assessments in line with statutory requirements
Carry out comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for community-based adults
Recommend and facilitate equipment, telecare solutions, and housing adaptations to support safe and independent living
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans
Support patients and families with guidance, education, and practical advice to optimise outcomes
Contribute to service development initiatives and provide guidance to junior staff where required
