Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is looking for a qualified and experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Inpatient service. This role will involve undertaking Best Interest Assessments and providing specialist occupational therapy across general medicine and neurology to support patient recovery and independence.
Undertake Best Interest Assessments in line with statutory requirements
Carry out comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for adult inpatients
Deliver tailored rehabilitation programmes to support functional recovery and independence
Provide specialist interventions for patients with neurological conditions
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans
Support patients and families with guidance, education, and practical advice to optimise outcomes
